The new engine is a 1.4 four-cylinder gasoline powered with turbo, Suzuki has given a jazzy name: BoosterJet. Develops 140 hp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 220 Nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. It is offered with manual or automatic transmission, both six relations and always with AWD.
The average consumption for BoosterJet with manual transmission is 5.4 liters per hundred with automatic transmission and up to 5.5 liters. The price starts at 23,660 euros for the manual version and 600 more for the version with automatic transmission.
Another novelty for the Vitara is a dual-clutch automatic transmission and six-speed combined with the diesel engine and two petrol.
